Amazing Crockpot Beef and Broccoli Recipe

To be honest, I was not sure if I would be disappointed or not with this recipe. I love takeout, especially Chinese food so I was skeptical. Let. Me. Tell. You. This recipe for Beef & Broccoli is BETTER than takeout. It’s tender, flavorful & delicious. My whole family gobbled this up – no leftovers sadly. Try it out, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Ingredients for Crockpot Beef and Broccoli

2 lbs Sirloin Steak

1 Cup Beef Broth

½ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic

1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil

2 Tablespoons Cornstarch

2 Tablespoons Cold Water

1 Cup Frozen Broccoli

Directions for Crockpot Beef & Broccoli

  1. Place the steak in the crockpot. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, minced garlic, sesame oil and brown sugar. Pour this mixture on top of the steak in the crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3 hours until the beef is tender.
  3. Whisk together the cornstarch and cold water in a mixing bowl. Pour this mixture into the crockpot and stir until combined.
  4. Stir in the broccoli and cook on low for about 30 minutes or until sauce has thickened and broccoli is cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately over rice & enjoy!
