Crockpot Angel Chicken – it has only 6 ingredients and is a breeze to make. Everyone in my family had seconds & cleaned their plates! All you need is chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, butter, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix – that’s it! You can serve it over pasta, rice, or potatoes. It has become a weeknight favorite in my house. So easy and super delicious!
Ingredients for Crockpot Angel Chicken:
1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
14.5 oz Chicken Broth
10.5 oz can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Packet Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
1/4 Cup Butter
8oz Cream Cheese, Softened
1 lb Angel Hair Pasta
Instructions for Crockpot Angel Chicken:
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- In a saucepan, combine Italian dressing mix, cream cheese, butter, soup, and broth. Heat over medium-high heat just until cream cheese is melted and incorporated into the soup.
- Pour sauce over chicken. Cover slow cooker.
- Turn crock-pot on low for 4 to 6 hours.
- Shred chicken with 2 forks if you like smaller pieces.
- Serve over cooked angel hair pasta.
Notes:
- I used a packet of Good Seasonings Italian Dressing Mix. DO NOT make the dressing. Just use the seasoning.
- Feel free to throw in some frozen broccoli or spinach into the crockpot with the chicken.
- You can shred the chicken with 2 forks after cooking. This is a great way to stretch the recipe to serve more people.
I hope you enjoy this recipe! This is one of those recipes where, to me at least, the ingredients don’t make it sound appetizing, and it may not look the best – but it’s definitely a winner. For sure it will be in my crockpot dinner rotation for quick & easy meals. For more crockpot meal ideas, follow me on Pinterest!
