Hey guys! Hope 2022 has been good to you all so far. I am back to post some insight into how I plan my day being a therapist and the Clinical Supervisor for Outpatient where I work. My choice for a work planner this year was the Erin Condren Petite Daily planner. This planner is light, compact and portable – it fits super easily into my purse to take to work. I like the fact that I can plan out my day in an hourly fashion or change it up if I wanted to. It’s really easy to customize this planner to fit your needs.
My Day
My day typically starts at 6am – I get myself ready & take the girls to school for 725. After that I return home and make myself breakfast and lunch and then I am off to work. I arrive at work around 8 or 830, depending on when I have my first client. Because of my supervisory role, I divide my time between administrative duties, supervision of therapists and seeing clients. It can get quite hectic since I have a pretty decent caseload and about 25 therapists I supervise. Typically I am done anywhere between 5-6pm. My daughters are both school-aged and involved in sports, so I like to be home to eat dinner as a family & attend their practices. The rest of my night will be filled with nightly activities including to-do lists for myself.
To Decorate Or Not To Decorate…
Since this planner is for work, I am not going to fuss too much with putting a ton of stickers and decorations in it. I did this week because of the break and had some time to play around in it. I imagine a lot of days will be just pen – and I am fine with that. The stickers I did use were from the back of Erin Condren planners I have had in the past. I want to use up some of the old stickers I have on hand. I will be saving the more decorative stuff for my weekly life planner. You can see how I set that up here.
The Plan
In order to show a more in depth look at how I plan my day out, I made a video. I will be updating and posting pictures of it’s progress on the blog, my YouTube channel, as well as Instagram. I hope you follow my journey! Happy planning everyone! Have a great week!
