Happy 4th of July everyone! What better day to post July’s meal plan than on America’s birthday? Better late than never, right? I’m trying to get back on my posting game, so I wanted to share this month’s meal plan. Monthly meal planning is still working out well for my family. If you haven’t tried it yet, I definitely recommend it. It’s a great way to help keep your grocery budget low and not repeat meals all the time. If you missed my meal plan from last month, it can be found here.
Since the heat is oppressive in July (it’s going to hit 90 today), I picked meals that would not require the use of the oven or if at all, minimal use. I love summer just for the fact that you can include simple meals like salads and burgers. We love to barbeque and use the crockpot a lot in the summertime because of my work schedule. For help with ideas for awesome meals on hectic evenings check out my post on 25 tips for Dinner on Crazy Busy Nights. There are some great ideas for meals on the go and when you have a million and one activities planned.
I have included July’s meal plan below. It is available for download as well so you can customize it to fit your needs. Most of the recipes can be found on my Pinterest page, be sure to check that out here & follow me!
I hope you like July’s meal plan. I wish you all a wonderful and safe 4th of July if you celebrate it. If not, Happy Thursday! We are heading to our local park later tonight to grab some food and watch the fireworks display. Let me know you have planned for dinner at your house or what your 4th of July plans are in the comments below! Have a great day everyone!
