We are still very much in school prep mode here in PA. I have already made my meal plan that I want to have for the first week of school. I know it’s going to be a rough week for everyone getting back into a routine and potentially dealing with homework, sports practices and different things we have going on so I want to keep it really easy. Here’s my meal plan for the first week of school.
Monday
Chicken Teriyaki – I marinade the chicken breasts in Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce as well as a cup of Orange Juice overnight in the fridge. My husband will sauté the chicken until fully cooked through, then add a bag of frozen stir fry mix vegetable with a little more marinade to the frying pan. Cook until veggies are heated through. Serve with rice.
Tuesday
Tacos – We use the Old El Paso Kit with some ground beef, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. Super easy and quick dinner that everyone in my house loves.
Wednesday
Crock Pot Beef Stew – I love Beef Stew – it’s just filling, yummy and reminds me of Fall.
Thursday
Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup – I am using this recipe that I found on Pinterest. Everyone in my family loves Chicken Noodle Soup so I think it will be a favorite. I plan on serving garlic bread with it.
Friday
Pizza – to celebrate getting through the first week of school we are going to order pizza from our favorite local pizza place. Who doesn’t love a good slice?!
