Mindfulness Monday #3

Every Monday I am posting a little snippet of different ways we can improve our mindfulness in our daily life. To start from the beginning, you can check out my first post here to see what mindfulness is all about and what it’s benefits are.

For today’s Mindfulness Monday challenge – take a piece of chocolate – and instead of devouring it – place it in your mouth, allowing it to melt in your mouth without chewing. Savor the flavor and how to feels, think about it as you are enjoying it. If you don’t like chocolate – choose something that you do enjoy like a peppermint or other type of candy.

This is something that will take a minute of your day – but helps you build more awareness into the little things that often get away from us. Plus it includes chocolate/candy – nothing bad about that!
