Fall got off to a slow start for us this year. It got chilly, then went back to warmer temperatures. I think we are finally now just starting to get closer to “normal” weather. Just because the weather wasn’t making it feel like fall, doesn’t mean I haven’t been rocking the apple/pumpkin scented goodness and have the whole house decorated in fall décor. I love this time of year, so I am excited to share with you my favorite things for the month of October!
Yankee Candle Autumn Wreath Candle 
I love Yankee Candle and by far my favorite scent in the fall is Autumn Wreath – it’s sweet and spicy and for me just sums up exactly what fall should smell like. As you can see this candle has been used A LOT this month – it’s almost all gone and I am going to need to stock up with some more!
Gala Apples 
This time of year is apple picking time and I am obsessed with Gala Apples! Granny Smith to me are great for baking, but to just enjoy as a snack, I am really loving Gala apples. I have been buying a 2 lb bag every week from Walmart and they are gone before the week is over. My daughters love them, especially with some peanut butter and I have been packing them with my lunch almost every day.
Acorn and Pumpkin Salt & Pepper Shaker 
I bought this cute little duo at Cracker Barrel the one day and I think they are such a cute edition to my dining room table when we eat dinner. Seriously, though – how are cute are they?!
Method Wood Cleaner 
I recently bought this cleaner at the beginning of the month because I wanted to see if it could help bring back some of the luster and shine in my wood furniture that has been a little beaten up from having kids. I have to say that this not only smells amazing but I love what it does to the wood. It cleans and conditions it without leaving it wet or sticky feeling. I will definitely be using this from now on. If you haven’t yet and you have wood furniture in your house – I definitely recommend this!
Washi Tape 
Tis the season and I have been loving my seasonal washi tape box that I got from Michaels. I have been using all of the Halloween tapes, the fall colored ones, and can’t wait to start with the Christmas washi. I even went outside of my comfort zone and used my washi in different ways in my planner, which you can check out on my Instagram . I follow Natalie from CraftingAPlan and she uses her Washi tape in all sorts of directions and I channeled her in one of my spreads and I loved it.
Metrokane Champagne & Wine Sealer 
I am in LOVE with this little gadget. I am a Champagne (Sparkling Wine) girl but my husband doesn’t drink so I don’t buy it that often because it goes bad. Enter this little amazing gadget that my husband picked up one day – I can now buy a bottle of Champagne, have a glass, put this little gadget in and it keeps the Champagne nice and bubbly for days to come (I say days, because, I mean – I love Champagne).
