Plan With Me
Happy Sunday guys! You may or may not know that I have been planning in a 2018-2019 Erin Condren Vertical Life Planner. You can check out how I set it up in this post. This is the 2nd year I’ve had an Erin Condren planner and I am loving it. I wanted to bring you another plan with me style post showing you how I set up my planner for the week. I bought this awesome Little Mermaid kit from The Glitter Momma on Etsy (not sponsored or affiliated) – you can check her out here. She has great quality kits – and lots of Disney ones so definitely check her out.
First things first – how did I pick my kit? Even though this week is Memorial Day – the Erin Condren colors this week were that peachy orange and green – so it inspired me to utilize this Little Mermaid kit. I just kind of go with whatever sparks my creative interest.
Headers, Washi & Date Covers, Oh My!
As you can see in this picture I start off by putting down my bottom washi, choosing my headers and-placing the date covers. I also picked one of the 8 full boxes to be my “quote box”. I love the paint brush look to the date covers, it’s a cute detail.
Full, Half & Quarter Boxes
For this spread I put down my full boxes in a random order spread out through the week. The kit comes with 8 pictures and with only using 5, I still have 3 full boxes left I can use and with other parts of the kit I am able to stretch out using it for two weeks instead of just one (budget tip). This kit was $15 (which really isn’t terrible) but I justify it by using it twice.
For the quarter and half boxes – I check out my monthly spread and place those down where I have activities or events for that day.
Decorate With Other Stickers
After I have put down all of the boxes I go back through my stickers and add fun decorative stickers to events like soccer practice (soccer fox is from Sweet Ava’s Paper and soccer girls are Planner Pixie Co (again these are all stickers I bought, I am not one of the PR people and this post is not sponsored). I use the little decorations at the top and also have my Create 365 MAMBI sticker books on hand to see if I want to use those stickers. It really depends on what I have going on and what I feel like using.
Sidebar Action
Last but not least I complete my sidebar. I do this last because it ends up differently almost every time depending on what kit I am using. This kit comes with a couple of great stickers including the Currently sticker and the MTWTHF sticker which Il use to keep track of dinners. I included two habit trackers, one for my self care and the other for a no spend. It’s the beginning of the month so I also added a bill due sticker.
Checklists & Plan As I Go
I plan as much as can and add a new checklists here or there – my planner typically gets filled out day by day as things come up and happen. I keep some of my stickers with me so that I can use them as well.
That’s pretty much how I plan my week. If you’d like to see the finished product after the week is done and I will leave it in the comments. Let me know if you paper plan, what planner you use and how you plan for the week!
I’ve actually stopped planning my week for the past couple of months… and so much housework and unnecessary stress has piled up on me. I have to get back to it! Thanks for this

Thank you so much! It definitely comes in handy! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really need to take inspiration from posts like this and try to get using a planner regularly. I keep talking about it/considering it but not actually making it happen lol
Thanks! Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with it the way that I’d like – and in cases like that I just use pen and paper and keep it super low key and functional. Thanks for stopping!
Organization and lists? That’s my crack!! I loved this thanks for sharing your process with planning! I’m starting to try doing the same in my own affairs 😊
Same for me! It’s super addicting! Thanks for stopping by!
oh my gosh you are speaking my love language here lol! I love me a good planner. Seriously- I start off every morning with my planner. I even have 3 separate planners, which I do not know if I fully recommend, but it works for me. 1- For all my real estate transactions 2- All my blog planning and 3- Everything house related. The hubs and kids know they can always get out the house planner and pick up where I need it. Life savers for me! I may just be the tiniest bit obsessed lol.
Haha yes me too! I could stare at planners all day – and I LOVE seeing how everyone sets theirs up differently. Thanks for stopping by!
