I can’t even believe tomorrow marks the first day of summer. I always feel that summer has this way of coming and going so rapidly that by the end of it I am thinking “I really wish I had done _____”. I really want this summer to be different – so I made a summer bucket list of things that I want to do with my family before summer ends.
This is very much Pinterest inspired – but I added some of my own and created my own little worksheet to work off of. I know the photo is not the best – but it includes 30 things that I want to accomplish by summer’s end and they are: play baseball, go to the beach, star gazing, paint with watercolors, make s’mores, cook a new recipe, catch fireflies, go to a new zoo, grow veggies, have a picnic, go bowling, read a book, blow bubbles, fly a kite, wash the car, water gun fight, buy fresh flowers, go to the library, watch fireworks, fun with sparklers, play with sidewalk chalk, make ice cream in a bag, paint rocks, nap in the hammock, water balloon fight, go to the farmer’s market, build sand castles, tie dye shirts, go to an amusement park, and have family game night. Some of them I know for sure I can accomplish and others are things I have never done before (ice cream in a bag) but I want to try. It’s motivating to see my list and see what I still have yet to check off. I am excited to see if I can accomplish everything on my list.
Do you make seasonal bucket lists or have fun things that you like to do for the summer season?
