Homemade Garlic Bread
In my opinion, nothing beats garlic bread to go along with your favorite pasta dish – am I right? We have pasta at least once a week in our house and I got so sick of buying store bought garlic bread and wanted to try to make my own. This recipe is super easy with ingredients you probably already have on hand and it tastes WAY better than any store bought garlic bread I have ever tried. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Ingredients
1 soft baguette or ciabatta bread
1 stick of salted butter (softened)
5 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 TBSP fresh parsley, minced
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425F and slice the baguette in half through the center like you would for a sandwich; place it on a baking sheet cut side up (you can also cut down the middle to create 4 pieces if it won’t fit on your baking sheet).
2️⃣ Mix together the butter, garlic, parmesan cheese and parsley and spread it onto the cut side of the bread in one even layer; For a cheesy bread version – top with favorite cheese.
3️⃣ Bake on 425F for 9-12 minutes or until the edges of the bread are golden brown and crispy – cut into pieces and enjoy immediately while hot!
