Happy FRIDAY everyone! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you guys my FAVORITES from the week! So grab a cup of your favorite drink, celebrate the fact that it’s FRIDAY & join us!
Last week in my favorites post I shared how I have been loving planning in the MakseLife Planner. Well, I started using these erasable gel pens in my planner – and they are a game changer! am loving my planner. No more crossing things off or having to white things out! Our plans change constantly (especially my meal plan) and I love being able to erase what I wrote and write something else in it’s place. There’s no mess, the ink is vibrant and doesn’t fade and they come in every color imaginable. If you’re a planner girl like me, these are a necessity!
Speaking of meal plans changing – on Tuesday I made a Roast Chicken for dinner. Well, I tried to anyway. Something was definitely amiss because after 2 hours – the meat was RAW. It was gross. I was pretty sad because I made roasted veggies and mashed potatoes and was really excited about dinner. My husband ordered takeout for us instead and when he came home with it he brought me these flowers because he knew I was bummed about dinner. How sweet is that?! He had the florist put in a Hydrangea stem because he knows they are one of my favorite flowers.
Over the weekend I went on a mommy-daughter date with my oldest to go shopping. We stopped at Burlington Coat Factory and I saw these pillows and I had to get them. I love decorating for holidays and adding cute decorative pillows in the living room.
On the topic of decorating – I also decorated my kitchen for Valentine’s Day using some decorations I bought at the Dollar Tree. I thought it was really cute & festive. What do you guys think? Do you goes decorate for Valentine’s Day?
Another favorite of this week was watching the playoff games on Sunday. I made some pigs in a blanket and some chicken wing dip and we just relaxed and watched football most of the afternoon and evening. Are you guys excited for the Super Bowl? Who are you rooting for?
Another favorite from this week is this Zen Garden Dumpster Fire. My boss bought me this as a little joke – but it’s honestly one of the best things I have in my office. I work in mental health and some days truly do feel like a dumpster fire. I thought it was really cute and even my clients love it. I think it’s hilarious and honestly soothing to rake the sand on a rough day.
So that is it for this week’s Friday Favorites! I hope you all have an amazing weekend! Let me know your plans down in the comments! Xx
