Happy Friday & Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea again to bring you guys my favorite things from the week! I missed last Friday Favorites because I caught the bug that everyone seems to be catching. But I am feeling better – so grab a cup of your favorite drink, let’s celebrate the fact that it’s Friday!
My youngest turned 11 on Wednesday, so we celebrated her – ordered Dominos per her request and had ice cream cake. We will be celebrating more this weekend with the family. It is definitely a favorite of mine to hang out with family when they are in town.
Something that has quickly become one of my favorites is this Blow Dryer Hair Brush tool from Amazon. I have curly hair and taking the time to dry it in the morning and straighten it is never something I want to have to do. It just took so much time in the morning. This brush has cut down on the time it takes to do my hair – in half. It blow dries so quickly and then I just need to run through it quickly with a straightener. In 15 minutes my hair is done. It’s amazing.
We went to a new restaurant called Egg this weekend in Rehoboth Beach. The food and the drinks were AMAZING! If you are ever in the area of the Delaware Beaches – definitely give this place a try for Brunch. They have something for everyone.
Especially in honor of Valentine’s Day – my hubby is definitely a favorite. He has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He definitely is the ying to my yang.
Pastelillos are always a favorite in our house. It’s a Puerto Rican style empanada filled with meat, potatoes and olives – or however you want to make them. They are so quick to make and delicious. We have them about once a week or so. My daughter asked for them yesterday – so they are definitely a favorite. If you don’t know what I’m talking about you can check out the recipe here. They are a Puerto Rican staple in our family.
As one of her birthday gifts my daughter got this desk from Amazon. She loves to draw and having a desk in her room is definitely handy for homework and when she wants to be creative. One of my favorite things is to watch my kids work.
Another favorite thing is this soccer goal we also got my daughter for her birthday. Soccer season is coming up and she loves to train so my husband wanted to get her some soccer related gifts for her birthday. Soccer is definitely a favorite in this house. I love watching my kids play.
One of my favorite ways to treat myself on Fridays is to get a coffee. I don’t do this every Friday but for Valentine’s Day I decided to get my favorite coffee – a Venti Iced White Mocha with Sweet Cream Cold Foam and Caramel Drizzle from Starbucks. What’s your Starbucks or local coffee shop order?
