- Use a Planner – II don’t know what I would do without my planner – it keeps me on track and very organized. I use it to write down any important dates, appointments, meetings, bills, etc. The planner I use is the Classic Happy Planner and I love it – decorating it is a relaxing activity and it makes the planner extremely aesthetically pleasing haha.
- Top 3 – At work I use a top 3 priorities to help me figure out what I need to do if there is no time to do anything else. Everything else seems to fall into place after I complete my Top 3 – it gives me focus and a direction to start.
- Have a Master Calendar – I keep a whiteboard calendar in my kitchen so that everyone in my family can see what is going on for the that day/week/month. I also have a white board for the meal plan of the week so everyone knows what is for dinner.
- Employ The Power Hour Method – Kimberly from StyleMomXo on YouTube is the creator of the amazing power hour. You write a to-do list, set your timer for an hour and do as much as you possibly can in that hour. It helps me with decluttering, getting mundane annoying tasks done and over with – and I swear you move faster because you’re trying to beat the timer and get everything on your list done.
- Do It Now – I am the worst at procrastinating sometimes and it honestly only makes things worse. So when I need to take the laundry upstairs, I take it. If the garbage needs to be changed, I do it. I try to stay on top of things and not put them off because it only makes the list longer for me when I procrastinate.
